This Speyside single cask Allt-a-Bhainne is a rare addition to Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range of whiskies. Filled into a single refill American hogshead, cask #16601401 in 2006 then aged for 15 years before being bottled on the 22nd of June 2021. This UK Exclusive is one of just 453 bottles. A cracking single cask whisky with smooth tropical fruit flavours that give give way to rich honey and grapefruit notes.

This Speyside distillery was founded in 1975 by Chivas Brothers to produce malt for its blended whiskies and occasional crafting of spirit for independant bottlers. It is now the proud producer of its own official lightly peated bottling released in 2018. The marketing of this bottle has a 1970’s feel giving a nod to its distilleries architectural style.

Nose: Fresh apple aromas combine with honeydew, melon and vanilla.
Palate: Smooth tropical fruit flavours give way to rich honey and grapefruit.
Finish: A medium finish with lingering spice.
