Dalmore Whisky

The picturesque Dalmore distillery lies in the north of the Highlands region on the banks of the Cromarty Firth. It was founded way back in 1839 by Alexander Matheson. The distillery was then sold in 1891 to the Mackenzie brothers who merged their company with well know White & Mackay Ltd in 1960. Back then the majority of whisky production was for the White & Mackay blends. As time passed the distillery then became renowned for the provision of sought after exclusive and rare bottling’s of great quality. Richard Patterson is Dalmore’s brilliant legendary master blender. He is widely regarded as the most experienced in his field. Recently Dalmore's single malt enjoyed a significant increase in popularity becoming one of the fastest growing in the market. As a result of this success, the owners plan to expand in order to increase the production. Dalmore has a good core offering of 12, 12 Sherry Cask Select, 15, 18 and a 21 year old which was released in 2022. No forgetting a Port Wood Reserve, 1263 King Alexander III plus a 25 year old.
