Glen Grant Whisky

Glen Grant is one of a number of distilleries located in Rothes in the Speyside whisky producing region. The distillery was established in 1840 by brothers James and John Grant. After being passed down through family generations, in 1953 J. & J. Grant merged with George & J.G. Smith to form The Glenlivet & Glen Grant Distillers Ltd. Glen Grant is now owned by Campari who took the helm in 2006.    
The whisky produced has been a popular seller in Italy since the 1960’s. For some decades now Glen Grant is reported to be the best selling single malt in the Italian market. 
Glen Grant stands out from the other distilleries in the town as it’s the only one there to have a visitors centre. Many people are attracted to the site to experience both the distillery and the glorious 22 acre parkland attached. There is a broad core range of whisky from Glen Grant and the most recent to be introduced was a 21 year old in 2022.
