Glenrothes Whisky

Glenrothes is a Speyside regional distillery, located in the town of Rothes, Morayshire. It was founded by James Stuart & Co. in 1878. The buildings are situated next the Burn of Rothes tucked away in a glen on the outskirts of the town. The distillery owned by the Edrington Group boasts a cooperage on site and has a large capacity of five million six hundred litres. There are ten stills and a beautifully retained traditional pagoda roof. The Glenrothes team has an unwavering dedication to producing and releasing only the finest small batch aged whiskies. There is also a drive to grow the brand especially in the US market.

In the core range there is the 10, 12, 18 and 25 year olds plus the Whisky Maker’s Cut. Recently a 40 and 50 year old were released. Plus of note a Halloween Edition 13 year old limited release was available in 2020.
