Sazerac Whiskey

Sazerac is a multi-award winning straight rye whiskey originating in New Orleans and is part of the city’s rich heritage. In the 1800’s bars masked as coffee houses were increasing and the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street served a drink made with rye whiskey and Peychaud’s bitters. This was know as the ‘Sazerac’ which later became the official cocktail of New Orleans. The character of the whiskey is mellow and spicy with a dry sweetness
